We are excited to announce that we will be commencing works before the end of November.
Phase 1 of our initial civil works is upgrading the entrance road to our proposed Arrival Facility.
For all of you familiar to the area we will be extending Surf Rd beyond the Parks & Wildlife office along the existing sand track. The majority of the works are beyond the second boom gate. There will be some minor widening of the existing gravel road.
If you currently enjoy the day use area or the beach, none of the works should impact these areas.
If you enjoy recreational trail riding, walking or dog walking, please follow safety warnings and information signage that is posted onsite.
Our goal is to minimize the disturbance to anyone who enjoys the current recreational opportunities, maintain a safe workplace and complete the works in a timely fashion.
