The North Course
A Second Revelation
A Different Kind of Perfect
Just when you thought Tasmania couldn’t surprise you again, we’re building another 18 holes on the northern side of our peninsula. Different in character. Equal in brilliance.
If the South Course is our dramatic Irish links, the North will be our classic Scottish masterpiece.
Coming soon. Designed & built by King Collins Dormer.
”It is not an exaggeration to say that this piece of land must be considered one of the most precious for golf construction the world over.

Two Courses. One Destination.
While the South Course ambles across massive dunes, the North Course flows through gentler, more subtle terrain. But don’t mistake subtle for simple.
“It is packed end-to-end with ready to golf contours and bracketed by views to the North of an indescribably dramatic dune ridge and the serene Tiger Head Bay to the South.” — Rob Collins
This is land that doesn’t need to be forced into shape. The golf holes are already there, waiting to be discovered. Classic Scottish links character – firm, fast, and endlessly strategic. Where the South Course awes you with scale, the North will seduce you with subtlety.
King Collins Dormer – A New Creative Force in Golf
After their game-changing work at Sweetens Cove, Rob Collins and Tad King have become golf architecture’s most exciting voices. Now, with the addition of Trevor Dormer to the team, they’re bringing their unique vision to Tasmania. When architects of this calibre get this excited, you know something special is coming.
King Collins Dormer will spend the next year perfecting their routing, visiting multiple times to ensure every hole sits naturally on the land. Mat Goggin will oversee every bunker, every green complex, every strategic decision.
When the North Course opens in 2029, Seven Mile Beach won’t just be a golf course with 36 holes. It will be Australia’s definitive links golf experience – two world-class courses, each with its own character, both sharing the same spectacular setting.
The South Course shows what Tasmania can be. The North Course will complete the picture.
“Thank you, Mat, for making our dreams come true.” — King Collins Dormer
